The Software Quality and Integration (SQI) department within Twinscan System Software (TSS) cluster is responsible to integrate, qualify and release high quality, first-time-right software to our customers.
In this role you are responsible for supporting a scrum team of (7-10 FTE) and product owner by leading the technical roadmap of the team.

It is expected that you can think and work in terms of as a technical lead:
Maintain, update and support execution of the technical roadmap & architecture of the automation tools and dashboards supported by the team. The roadmap must consists of:
Be the technical coach and mentor of the team and lead the team towards the intended outcome
Determine, monitor and improve the (technical) quality of the tooling and dashboards
Work towards end to end continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) of the tooling and test deliveries
Regularly align with other technical leads and architects within the department on a common technical mission, vision & strategy
Set architecture guidelines and integrate them into the delivery process
Perform complex adjustments, perform upgrades, diagnose and solve hardware problems.
As expert team, ensure that the severity and impact of the software and IT issues causing instability and downtime to test systems are correctly communicated to the relevant teams.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Embedded Systems or equivalent.
Experience
At least 5-7 years of hands-on SW development and automation experience
Experience in a technical leadership role (e.g. team architect, Lead engineer) is essential
Hands-on design and programming experience in large redesign projects of legacy tool sets with large number of users and dependencies
Excellent Python and scripting skills. Golang is preferred
Hands-on experience in Linux based operating systems
Experience in GitHub/GitHub actions
Experience in Ansible
Experience in database management (SQL)
Knowledge of software packaging (RPM)
Agile (scrum and SAFe) experience

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
