We have a requirement for an Electrical Engineer to work on a number of key projects in the Netherlands.


Responsibilities

  • Completing electrical designs including calculations, technical reports, specifications and drawings.
  • Selection and specification of various electrical system components.
  • Co-ordination of services and equipment with the other disciplines within a design team environment.
  • Reviewing shop drawings and assist with general construction services.
  • Completing surveys to gather field related information for projects or specific tasks.
  • Managing and sharing any/all electrical equipment requirements across a large project team.
  • Managing Client, Vendor and Contractor communications including answering queries, email correspondence, attendance at meetings, etc.
  • Completing Electrical Cost Estimates.
  • Managing and planning project work and deliverable.
  • Having the ability to work on multiple projects.
  • Assisting in the development of technical proposals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years+ electrical engineering experience in a design environment
  • Experience on both LV and MV systems is desirable
  • Working Knowledge of Software packages for modelling of electrical systems is desirable
  • Knowledge of ATEX requirements is desirable
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to co-ordinate contractors
  • Knowledge of NEN Regulations
  • Basic understanding of use of Revit & AutoCAD
  • Preferably experience with Caneco and Eplan
  • Self-motivating and keen to help develop growing the PM Group Benelux office
  • Reliable, consistent and mature approach to work
  • Professional approach and demeanor
  • An ethical approach to safety, quality, environmental protection and business
  • Good organisational and leadership skills
  • Proactive team player who will be capable of leading a multidiscipline design team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, project management and organizational skills.
  • Good knowledge of Dutch and English
