The Capability Center is part of ASML's Global Business Services organization (ABS), delivering world-class transactional and operational support services, organized around end-to-end (E2E) processes. The ABS Capability Center supports the ABS “towers” (service delivery teams) in achieving agreed performance (KPIs) by means of deploying cross-functional continuous improvements, standardizing ways of working, embedding new capabilities (automation) and bringing innovation. As a Procure-to-Pay process improvement specialist, you will support the Vendor Operations tower which executes transactional Procure-to-Pay processes.

To realize our world-class ambition, we need to standardize, simplify and automate our processes and ensure that we can keep up with the growth of ASML and focus on more value add work. In the role of a Procure-to-Pay process expert, you are working closely with the business, IT and other process experts and involve yourself in key improvement/automation projects. 

Role and Responsibilities

As a Procure-to-Pay process improvement expert, You will:

  • Work on continuous improvements in E2E processes through best practices on process, data and technology
  • Contribute to the creation and realization of the improvement roadmap
  • Support the ABS towers to drive ESSA (Eliminate, Simplify, Standardize and Automate)  
  • Work closely with business process owners, architects, other process experts and project teams
  • Ensure business adoption of the projects on the roadmap
  • Ensure internal controls are embedded in the process and automated with the support of the internal control specialists
 
Education and experience
  • 6-10 years relevant working experience
  • Deep understanding of the accounts payable process as well as state of the art supporting solutions/finance IT applications like SAP (ECC, S4HANA), RPA and other specific tooling
  • Experience with the purchasing process as well as with supporting solutions/procurement IT applications like SAP MM & SAP Business Network (formerly SAP Ariba)
  • Experience and knowledge from a multinational organization
