Role and Responsibilities
Customer Support / Customer Supply Chain Management is an industry-leading supply-chain management organization in ASML, responsible for ensuring material availability at the right time, cost and quality to ASML’s factories and to customers. We accelerate the supply chain and deliver creative solutions, based on our DNA of customer focus, concurrent engineering, virtual integration and our ability to thrive in a volatile market where customer requirements can change at any time. Our highly qualified and motivated professionals manage an extensive supplier base and proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they materialize. We work closely together with our technical Departments and with our customers to ensure quality and availability to an industry where every issue can have major impact.
Fast market Introduction of ASML’s newest technologies requires logistic quality assurance on all levels in the supply chain. Dead on Arrival (DoA) of spare parts and service tools is the most undesired form of non-quality in the supply chain. As DoA’s can result in unacceptable downtime of the machines at our customers sites. Our supply chain processes are executed in up to 55 (outsourced) warehouses in Asia, US and Europe. Therefore, international teamwork is a significant part of your job. As project leader you will drive projects to initiate, standardize, and deploy quality processes with DoA prevention and increased customer satisfaction as an end goal.
As project Leader in the Quality Team in Customer Supply Chain Management, you will collaborate with highly experienced colleagues from various Departments and region to develop & roll-out new and warehouse processes worldwide, that will enable our 3PLs to use their Warehouse Management Systems. You will be responsible for developing new quality related processes such as quality inspections in the regions, regional tool repair solutions, supply chain readiness for new ASML businesses, and material return processes from customer factory.
As Project Lead, You will:
Apply PM Bok / PMI project means and methods to lead projects
Link to Safe/Agile approach for part of your deliverables
Lead global project teams with multi discipline expertise that are in multiple regions (US, ASIA, EU)
Coach and train colleague project leaders
Identify and mitigate unforeseen issues
Strong management of stakeholder and initiate & lead escalations
Pro-active progress reporting to relevant stakeholders
Flag the need for and drive structural solutions
Handover project deliverable to operations
Given ASML’s global presence, many sites subject to roll-out are located in Europe, Asia, and USA.
Some flexibility in working hours will be required (and provided) to support the local teams.
To help us tackle the challenges we face, you will need experience in working quality projects in Supply Chain/Logistics. As Project Lead you will also bring to the table;
Master’s degree in supply chain management or equivalent
At least 8 years of experience in a relevant field
Track record in managing and rolling out projects
Experience with reporting, analyzing and preventing quality issues
Experience with logistics/SC processes
Solid skills in stakeholder management
SAP experience: preferred
MS office skilled
Quick learner and highly motivated team player
Driven for results and able to meet deadlines under time pressure
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Pro-active, pragmatic and a strong drive for results
Flexible and able to work in changing environment
Professional communication in English
